Check how Panaché behaves in test mode, without blocking real customers.

Test mode lets you check how Panaché behaves without blocking real customers.

Turn on test mode

  1. In Panaché > Settings, turn on test mode.
  2. In Shopify, add the test tag to your own customer account.
  3. Logged in with that account, place an order: the rule applies only to you.

What to test

  • An incomplete cart: checkout must be blocked with the right message.
  • A complete cart: checkout must go through.
  • A magnum and an accessory: they must count as expected.
  • An express checkout (Apple Pay, Shop Pay) from a product page.

Turn it on for everyone

When everything looks right, turn off test mode: the rule applies to all your customers.
